President & CEO
Matt acts as President and CEO of the Transatlantic Business & Investment Council (TBIC) in Atlanta, GA and Berlin, Germany. In his former management function for an international consultancy, he supported European companies of various industries as they entered the U. S. market and is thereby well connected to both the U.S. and European business community. He is the point of contact for new members and represents the TBIC in the United States.

Specialist Nordics
Charlotte Nytoft is the founder and owner of CNR-Consulting, a boutique consulting firm working with European companies entering the U. S. market through direct export, by establishing their own production or through joint venture partners. Charlotte brings experience from 25+ years in international trade and business development and has served as President of the Danish American Chamber of Commerce as well as Deputy Head of Mission at the Trade Council of Denmark in Atlanta where she has worked with 150+ companies to secure successful entry into the U.S. market. Charlotte is TBIC’s Specialist for the Nordic countries of Europe and is head of the Nordic TBIC Representation in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Project Manager
Hanna’s scope of responsibilities for the TBIC Tteam in Berlin includes research, marketing and project management tasks. Given her work experience in journalism, PR and politics, Hanna contributes to the team with her hands-on experience in networking and relationship management. Having lived in Washington, D.C., the Southwest of the US, Israel and Panama, she possesses a high level of cross-cultural competence and is closely connected to the U.S. With her academic background in international relations and her fluency in several languages Hanna is a great asset to our TBIC team.

Project Manager
Originally hailing from Chicago, Sean works with TBIC as a Project Assistant. With educational and professional experience on both sides of the Atlantic, he offers a unique insight into the opportunities and challenges of transatlantic cooperation. He has previously worked in business development and marketing across a wide range of industries including IT and healthcare. In additional to his business acumen, his academic qualifications in international affairs have given him the strong analytical skills necessary to meet the needs of American communities and European investors.
Analyst & Finance
Lena supports the TBIC with research and project planning. Her academic background is in Political Science and British Studies, having studied at the Universities of Regensburg and Potsdam as well as the Hong Kong Baptist University in Hong Kong, China. Her studies as well as experiences living and working in the United States have provided Lena with a comprehensive understanding for transatlantic exchange in various fields. Due to her interdisciplinary background and her passion for transatlantic relations, Lena is a great asset to our TBIC team in Berlin.

Analyst
Hailing originally from Portland, Oregon in the US, David supports the TBIC with research, project administration, and on FDI trips. David’s studies of International Affairs provide him with an appreciation for the transatlantic trade and investment relationship, and afforded him multiple opportunities to live, work, and study throughout Germany. David’s command of German, his prior experience in FDI attraction and international trade promotion, and his passion for bringing Europe and the US closer together make him a valuable addition to our team.

Analyst
As a dual US-German citizen Nicholas supports TBIC with its FDI Trips, College Certification Program, and Project Assistance. He gained his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Leiden University. After working at GIZ’s corporate development department, he joined the International Affairs Master’s program at the Hertie School in Berlin. Through his personal background as a dual-national of Germany and the United States and through his studies, Nicholas has developed a strong interest in the transatlantic partnership and its economic integration. In the spirit of building bridges and connecting the best of both worlds, Nicholas hopes to contribute to European companies’ understanding of the US market and educational system as well as American EDOs’ understanding of European production needs and demands.
