Clarendon County

Located on the eastern side of Central SC, Clarendon County has a lot to offer. Formed in 1785, the county was named after Edward Hyde, “Earl,” one of the Lords Proprietors of Carolina. The county seat, the Town of Manning, is two miles from I­95 and 35 miles north of I­26. Clarendon County is growing rapidly, with an astonishing 21% growth in population since 1990.

Clarendon County is business ready, with industrial buildings ranging from 12,000 to 144,000 square feet. Additionally, the county is home to eight industrial sites located throughout its 607 square miles of business friendly soil. Intestate 95 runs through the center of the community and the Port of Charleston is a short 80 minute drive. Based on its strategic location along I­95 products produced in Clarendon County can reach upwards of 66 % of the USA market in a day’s travel time. In addition Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE): is within 60 minutes travel time. We were also recognized as the first certified work ready community in the state.
