The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is a corporate agency of the United States that provides electricity for business customers and local power companies serving nearly 10 million people in parts of seven south-eastern states.

TVA’s mission is to serve the people of the Valley territory, through providing reliable, low-cost power in an environmentally sustainable manner, and through economic development.

TVA Economic Development works to attract new business and investment, engage with existing industry and customers, and serve through partnership to help foster economic growth.
