President & CEO
Matt acts as President and CEO of the Transatlantic Business & Investment Council (TBIC) in Atlanta, GA and Berlin, Germany. In his former management function for an international consultancy, he supported European companies of various industries as they entered the U. S. market and is thereby well connected to both the U.S. and European business community. He is the point of contact for new Members and represents the TBIC in the United States.

Director European Affairs
Christopher serves as Director European Affairs in our Berlin office. In his role, Christopher directly interfaces with European investors and oversees the TBIC's European activities. Previously, he has worked on transatlantic economic relations in various contexts, including an economic development organization, a think tank, and a leading German industry association. Given his background in international relations and economics with a focus on North America, Christopher provides a valuable contribution to our goal of bringing the two sides of the transatlantic market together.
Sandra supports the TBIC team in Berlin with marketing activities, research tasks and project management. Before moving to Berlin Sandra obtained academic degrees in European Studies and in Governance and Public Policy. Focusing on European and U.S.-American Politics during her studies, she also gained professional experience in national and international politics. Sandra lived in Australia, France and Brussels as well as Washington, D.C. Her knowledge in transatlantic relations and her profound language skills in English, French and Italian contribute greatly to the work of the TBIC team.
Charlotte Nytoft is the founder and owner of CNR-Consulting, a boutique consulting firm working with European companies entering the U. S. market through direct export, by establishing their own production or through joint venture partners. Charlotte brings experience from 25+ years in international trade and business development and has served as President of the Danish American Chamber of Commerce as well as Deputy Head of Mission at the Trade Council of Denmark in Atlanta where she has worked with 150+ companies to secure successful entry into the U.S. market. Charlotte is TBIC’s Specialist for the Nordic countries of Europe and is head of the Nordic TBIC Representation in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Hanna’s scope of responsibilities for the TBIC team in Berlin includes research, marketing and project management tasks. Given her work experience in journalism, PR and politics, Hanna contributes to the team with her hands-on experience in networking and relationship management. Having lived in Washington, D.C., the Southwest of the US, Israel and Panama, she possesses a high level of cross-cultural competence and is closely connected to the U.S. With her academic background in international relations and her fluency in several languages Hanna is a great asset to our TBIC team.
Marketing & Administration
Lara-Louise supports the TBIC Team with administration and marketing tasks. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in North American Studies at the Free University of Berlin. She studied abroad at Montana State University
focusing on American culture, politics and the economy as well as Native American studies. Due to her language skills and her strong ties to the United States, Lara is a great enrichment to our TBIC Team.
Drawing on an academic background in politics and international affairs as well as extensive professional experience in project management, Valentina supports the TBIC in various projects and research tasks. Before joining our Berlin office, Valentina had lived in Switzerland, Scotland, England and France and thus easily converses and connects with stakeholders from all across Europe.
With an interdisciplinary academic background in American Studies and Design Thinking, Marie supports the TBIC with research and project planning. She studied at the Heidelberg University and the Hasso-Plattner-Institute in Germany, as well as the Willamette University in the United States. Through her studies and frequent travels to the United States, Marie developed a comprehensive understanding for transatlantic exchange in
various fields. Due to her interdisciplinary background and her passion for transatlantic relations, Marie is a great asset to our TBIC team in Berlin.
