The Florence-Muscle Shoals MSA, including the major cities of Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, and Florence, is quickly becoming one of the trendiest areas in the Southeast, blending a unique mix of culture, heritage, blue collar work ethic, quality of life, and an educated community of lifelong learners. The Shoals has been recognized as one of ten communities in TVA’s Community Livability pilot program, meaning our area possesses the assets that people look for when deciding on a community to make their home. Additionally, the City of Florence received a Valley Sustainable Platinum Community Designation for their strides in sustainability efforts.
